The story of The Little Store - from a folding table to all of India
Where it all began
We didn't start with a website. We started with a folding table in our society.
It was 2019, and what began as a small stall in our apartment community in PBEL City - selling notebooks, pens, and a handful of art supplies to neighbours - quietly turned into something bigger than we ever imagined.
Parents would stop by after the school run. Kids would linger over the craft kits with that particular excitement only children have. Someone would always ask, "Do you have balloons for a birthday party?" We kept saying yes - and kept expanding to keep that promise.

The beginning
A folding table in PBEL City
A small stall in our apartment society selling notebooks, pens and art supplies to neighbours. No website. No delivery. Just a folding table and a lot of love for small things.
2020
Growing the stall
Balloons, craft kits, party supplies
Every time someone asked "do you have this?" - we made sure we had it next time. The stall grew into a proper store. The community kept coming back.
2021
Going online
thelittle.in is born
We launched our online store - bringing the same carefully chosen products and the same neighbourhood warmth to customers across India. Same heart, wider reach.
